On the 13th of October we got our first grandchild, Isak Asher. He is just a beautiful little boy. He is developing every day, and these days he is so active communicating with eyes, smiles, sounds and movements. We see him and the parents, Hanna and Sean, usually at least weekly.
On the second day of Christmas I had the joy of blessing him when we had the child dedication at Pinsekirken at Heimdal. Jesus blessed the little children whom the parents carried to him, and we do the same. To have the whole church to be invoved in prayer for a child is a real privilage! Jesus said: Ask, and it shall be given to you. We believe in prayer! - We are going to miss Isak when we go to Swaziland.

Kirsti and Arve to Swaziland and Mozambique
Kirsti and I are moving to Swaziland on the 2nd of January to stay for 6 months. We were asked to help starting a Christian primary school at the centre where we were helping to start a Preschool Teacher Training and a Demonstration Preschool about 11 years ago. Starting the primary school will be the main task of Kirsti. I will be involved with the preschool teacher training in Swaziland. I will also help starting a new Preschool Teacher training in Maputo, Mozambique.
I will also be involved with helping to develop a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education at the University of Swaziland. This project is a cooperation between Queen Maud Universit College, University of Swaziland and FEA Preschool Teacher Training College in Swaziland.
